Thermography is measuring the infrared radiation thermal field by recording and visualization of temperature distribution on surfaces observed.

An IR photography can give us a lot of information. Thermography is the only diagnostic technology that allows you to view and verify thermal performance. IR cameras today will allow the identification of the nature of thermal problems, quantify them through a  extremely precise non-contact measurment, allowing automatic presentation of results in the form of professional reports.

Almost any device that uses or transmits energy is overheating prior to malfunction. Therefore nowadays nobody disputes that thermography is the most effective predictive maintenance technology designed, due accuracy and reliability with which potential problems can be identified. Using thermography shows a multitude of other benefits:

  • allows remote temperature measurement without direct contact
  • is a non-destructive method – does not affect in any material object or process being investigated
  • is a non-invasive method – can be repeated as often as needed

is the investigation of quickly and efficiently without requiring equipment decommissioning

  • it is possible an early detection of defects, their degree of risk assessment, planning repairs – obtaining in this way a decrease failure rate and a higher reliability
